How long does a typical psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) session last at the Montreal location?

A typical psychedelic-assisted therapy session at our Montreal location lasts approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes, including therapeutic preparation, the experiential component, and integration support.

Psychedelic-assisted therapy may not be suitable for individuals with:

  • An allergy to ketamine

  • Pregnancy

  • A personal history of schizophrenia or psychosis

  • Uncontrolled hypertension

  • A severe recent head injury

Eligibility is always determined through a medical consultation.

In Canada, ketamine is currently the only psychedelic substance that can be prescribed for therapeutic use. Other substances, such as MDMA and psilocybin, which we receive many inquiries about, are not approved for use outside of specific circumstances. Field Trip Health does not provide MDMA or psilocybin-assisted therapy.

When you arrive at 397 Laurier Ouest, you will find a restaurant named Mikado on the main floor. Facing the building on Av. Laurier Ouest, there is a staircase on the right-hand side that leads up to the second floor. Head up that staircase, and our clinic is the last door on the right.

We are service animal friendly. However, please note that the clinic is not currently wheelchair accessible due to the stairs leading to the second floor.
