The curriculum for the Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) course covers a comprehensive range of topics, including the history and pharmacology of ketamine, its use in treating mental health conditions and chronic pain, and the principles of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. It addresses therapeutic interventions, family involvement, and special considerations for palliative care. The course also includes preparatory, experiential, and integration phases of KAP sessions, with a focus on ethical practice, cultural competency, and clinician well-being. Additionally, it provides insights into the latest research on KAP’s applications for various psychological disorders. The program consists of video-narrated powerpoint presentations, videos, readings, and quizzes.
In addition to our Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) Training Program, Field Trip Health is proud to offer a partnership with Numinus, a leader in psychedelic-assisted therapy education. Their Fundamentals of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy course is designed for healthcare professionals looking to deepen their understanding of psychedelic therapies, including ketamine, psilocybin, and MDMA.
Numinus offers a robust and in-depth curriculum covering various aspects of psychedelic-assisted therapy, from pharmacology to clinical applications and ethical considerations.
Unlike our program's focus on ketamine and implementing it into your practice, Numinus covers a broader range of psychedelic substances, providing a more diverse learning experience.
Numinus is known for its rigorous academic standards, offering certificates that are recognized in the psychedelic therapy community.
While Numinus’ training is a significantly larger commitment, we believe it complements our offerings by providing a more extensive exploration of psychedelic therapies. We are pleased to offer a 5% discount on Numinus courses for Field Trip Health participants using the coupon code FieldTrip5.
