About Field Trip Health's Toronto psychedelic therapy & mental health clinic

Our Toronto Health & Wellness Centre is located on 30 Duncan Street, in the heart of the entertainment district. The building was constructed in 1926 and much of the original charm remains in our facility. High ceilings, wood floors, and large windows adorn most rooms. A sun-filled reception area and lush moss wall greets guests into our beautifully designed, nature-inspired clinic, with a straight shot view of the CN tower present in the background. We're proud to work closely with our Canadian veteran population, first responders, healthcare workers, and Indigenous communities.

At Field Trip Health Toronto, psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) is available for individuals exploring legally authorized therapeutic options. Psychedelic therapy is offered in structured, supervised settings and may be considered when individuals are seeking additional support after other approaches. Our experienced team provides a safe, supportive environment throughout the therapeutic process.

How long does a typical psychedelic-assisted therapy session last at the Toronto location?

A typical ketamine-assisted psychotherapy session at our Toronto location lasts approximately 2.5 hours, including therapeutic preparation, the experiential component, and integration support.

Psychedelic-assisted therapy may not be suitable for individuals with:

  • An allergy to ketamine

  • Pregnancy

  • A personal history of schizophrenia or psychosis

  • Uncontrolled hypertension

  • A severe recent head injury

Eligibility is always determined through a medical consultation.

In Canada, ketamine is currently the only psychedelic substance that can be prescribed for therapeutic use. Other substances, such as MDMA and psilocybin, which we receive many inquiries about, are not approved for use outside of specific circumstances. Field Trip Health does not provide MDMA or psilocybin-assisted therapy.

Costs vary based on the method of administration and the number of PAP/PAT sessions included in your individualized plan.

For detailed pricing, please book a free discovery call with our team.

While the medication administration and medical components are not covered by public plans, many clients are able to use their psychotherapy or nursing benefits toward part of their overall costs. Coverage varies by insurer and plan, and our team can help you understand your options.

Flexible third-party financing is also available through approved lenders.

At our Toronto location we have mainly Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists.

At our Toronto location, low dose psychedelics are administered mainly by intramuscular injection, however can be offered intranasally or sublingually, depending on your treatment plan. Your nurse practitioner will discuss the most appropriate method for you during your consultation.

Some people may be familiar with the term “ketamine therapy,” or "ketamine-assisted therapy" which are often used in media to describe approaches that involve ketamine in supervised medical settings. At Field Trip Health, we use the terminology “psychedelic therapy” or “psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy (PAP/PAT)” to remain aligned with regulatory expectations and to accurately reflect our structured, psychotherapy-based model of care. This information is provided for educational purposes only.

Before your session, please avoid alcohol and recreational substances, and consider having a light meal rather than a heavy one.

Because you may feel drowsy following your session, you will not be able to drive afterward, so please arrange alternate transportation.
