Brian Fernandes
Registered Social Worker
Brian Fernandes is a dedicated and accomplished Registered Social Worker, recognized by the Ontario College of Social Workers, holding a Masters of Social Work from the University of Windsor. His extensive background encompasses aiding individuals grappling with Depression, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Substance Use Disorders. Brian has devoted years to instilling hope within some of the most marginalised communities in and around the Greater Toronto Area, including at-risk youth, individuals experiencing homelessness, and refugees.
Employing a client-centred, strengths-based approach, Brian tailors his methods to the unique needs of each individual. Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, and Motivational Interviewing, he ensures a personalised and effective intervention.
With a distinguished military service record, Brian served as a reservist Infantry Officer in the Canadian Armed Forces, achieving the rank of Captain. His firsthand understanding of the distinctive stressors faced by Veterans and First Responders fuels his commitment to providing Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy to this underserved population. Notably, Brian’s work with Veterans has been featured in “The Ketamine Breakthrough” by Dr. Mike Dow and Ronan Levy.
Brian has undergone additional specialised training, including MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy Training with the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies, coupled with training in holotropic breathwork practices. Currently, he is preparing to contribute as a Therapist in upcoming clinical trials with Compass Pathways, investigating the potential of Psilocybin to address Treatment-Resistant Depression.

Rose Ebrahimi
Registered Social Worker
Rose, a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University, boasts a rich background in community-based agencies, including experience at Field Trip’s Toronto Clinic. Specialising in eating disorder/disordered eating treatment, as well as rehabilitation and disability, Rose employs a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-based practices, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Beyond her professional expertise, Rose is trained in Ketamine, MDMA, and Psilocybin Assisted Therapy. She envisions a future where these treatments are more accessible, allowing individuals to receive support without the burden of stigma. In her personal life, Rose finds joy in playing the piano, foraging with her dog, and immersing herself in any body of water.
Meeta Locey
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
After navigating the demanding tides of the tech industry, Meeta left the corporate hustle in search of deeper meaning and purpose. Holding a Master’s degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, Meeta is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). Her trauma-informed training at the Centre for Addictions & Mental Health (CAMH) provided rich experience with a diverse range of mental health challenges, including grief, substance use disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression.
Guided by the belief that individuals are already whole, Meeta’s approach to therapy focuses on reclaiming inherent wholeness. She is passionate about helping clients navigate the complex labyrinth of their inner world, embracing different parts, reconnecting with their inner healer, and ultimately re-authoring their stories. The compelling research on the efficacy of psychedelic psychotherapy inspired Meeta to pursue a career in psychotherapy. Her hands-on experience with clients who have found therapeutic relief and gained transformative insights continues to fuel her passion for this work and the belief that it represents the future of mental health.
In sessions, Meeta leads with compassion, curiosity, warmth, and, when appropriate, a dash of humour. Committed to a strengths-based approach to healing, she uses an integrative therapeutic style, drawing on Internal Family Systems (as an IFS-Informed practitioner), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness & Emotion Regulation Practices (DBT).

Ashley Irwin
Registered Social Worker, MA
Ashley is a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in the mental health field, dedicated to enhancing the social, emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing of her clients through a strengths-based approach. She has a robust clinical background in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and holds Trauma Level One and Two certifications from the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre.
Ashley is the Lead Therapist for Field Trip Health Canada, where she plays a central role in delivering innovative and evidence-based mental health care, including psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy.
Her extensive work across both public and private sectors has equipped her to support individuals across the lifespan—including children, adolescents, and adults—through a wide range of challenges. Ashley’s clinical specialties include crisis intervention, trauma, grief and loss, internalizing disorders, and the integration of art, mindfulness, and relaxation techniques into therapy.
Most recently, she completed certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy through Numinus, a program accredited in Canada, further expanding her integrative and holistic therapeutic toolkit.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Algoma University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. Beyond her clinical practice, she is passionate about nature and sustainable living. As an avid equestrian and farm operator, Ashley grows organic produce, produces goat’s milk soap, maple syrup and eggs, and actively engages in northern cooperatives and mental health farming initiatives. Audrey Barta

Audrey (she/her/hers) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Audrey holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience which greatly informs her practice of evidence-based approaches in supporting her client’s needs. Audrey worked in community mental health and research specializing in addictions before finding her passion in supporting others in a psychotherapeutic setting. Reflecting on her own experiences and the greater community, she has learned the importance of embodying who we are, where we come from and the strength that we build from these aspects. Audrey has completed additional training in a variety of modalities and competencies such as Somatic Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Audrey is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and incorporates these practices into psychotherapeutic work to help clients engage mindfully and heal holistically.

Basmah Ahmed holds a Master’s in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, she comes with several years of experience facilitating groups in mindfulness and wellness in community settings, in addition to mentoring and training youth and adults in their career development. She loves being in nature and believes that connecting to and grounding ourselves in nature can help us stay attuned to the present moment long enough to make significant changes in our lives. As someone who has always worked within diverse communities, she strives to work from an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed lens. In addition, She has received training in Crisis Responding, Mental Health First-Aid, Embodied Activism, Internal Family Systems, Somatic integrations, Solution-Focused Career Counselling, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy and looks forward to pulling from evidence-based theories to support you in a way that uniquely benefits you.
As a therapist, Basmah believes that an integrative approach is the best and strongest way to ensure that you feel supported within the therapeutic space. After receiving training in IFS (Internal Family Systems) through PESI, She always begins by gently exploring you and the parts that make up your system. Authenticity, curiosity, and reverence guide her work, particularly in the realm of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Deeply aligned with the healing potential of ketamine and other psychedelic medicines, she supports clients navigating treatment-resistant depression, PTSD, grief, ADHD, anxiety, and existential distress, with a strong focus on meaning-making, integration, and embodied healing. Alexander Boerson

Alex is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. With a broad background in Social Work and Social Services, he has worked with diverse populations, including in elementary schools, group homes, with unhoused individuals in community, in hospitals, and alongside first responders. Alex has served on Crisis Response Teams in emergency rooms across Huron and Perth Counties and worked directly with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Stratford Police Service in the field. His experience in these high-stress environments has inspired his passion for supporting individuals through difficult thoughts and feelings they experience. He aims to create a comfortable and down to earth environment where individuals can explore themselves without judgement. Alex was drawn to the field of Social Services after his own personal journey with mental health challenges. Alex approaches therapy with deep empathy and a curiosity for the human experience. Alex is trained in several therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. Chris Mullin

Chris is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Western University. He has pursued his interest in psychology through two degrees and engaging research on self-talk and the medicalization of counselling. His approach to counselling is primarily relational, emphasizing the importance of the connection between therapist and client as the foundation for emotional processing and growth. Chris aims to create a space where clients can express themselves authentically and discuss various aspects of their lives. Through therapeutic work, he helps untangle the complex thoughts, emotions, and sensations that may contribute to stress.
Utilizing an integrative approach to therapy, Chris draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of his clients. He focuses on providing therapy that is flexible and personalized, considering each client’s strengths, past experiences, and current challenges. Erin Pomanti
Registered Nurse, Psychotherapist
Erin is a Registered Nurse who has been working in the field of mental health since 2015. She started her career at Lakehead Psychiatric Hospital, where she first began working with Dr. Nucci. She practised nursing on a casual basis to support her love of travel and self-discovery, which allowed her to complete a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training in Costa Rica. Her solo travel journeys continued, sparking many opportunities to explore her inner and outer world through meditation, connection, and experiential learning. This has all shaped who Erin is today and helped prepare her for the role of a psychedelic therapist. She has completed training in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) through Polaris Insight Center and Psilocybin-Assisted Psychotherapy with TheraPsil. She remains committed to continuing her education by taking a variety of courses such as Felt Sense Polyvagal Model for trauma and addiction, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), LEAP (palliative), and Reiki (energy healing). The diverse group of clients Erin has had the honour of working with thus far have enriched her ability to facilitate KAP in a holistic, intuitive, and empowering way. Jordan Gross
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), Registered Nurse
Jordan has been exploring psychedelic perspectives for years as these insights have played an integral role in his own healing journey. He first began working with holotropic states when completing his breathwork healer certification two years ago. Since then, he has completed training in KAP through Polaris Insight Centre and Ketamine Assisted EFFT with Adele Lafrance. Jordan has also completed the 100 hour training for MDMA Assisted Therapy at MAPS as well as the Psilocybin Assisted Therapy Program at Therapsil. His psychotherapy background has a focus in Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness and Self-Compassion. Jordan is actively advocating for safe and equitable opportunities for psychedelic therapies and frequently collaborates with other members in the field. Since completing his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Masters in Counselling Psychology his scope of practice is ideal for the psychedelic field being as he is dually registered as a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) and Registered Nurse.
