Vanessa Bauer

Registered Social Worker

Vanessa is a compassionate and empathetic Social Worker, registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). Holding degrees in Psychology and Social Work and a diploma Applied Behaviour Analysis. Vanessa has a certificate in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy and continues her educational advancements in the fields of trauma-based psychotherapies.

With over 10 years of professional experience in the field of mental health and addictions, Vanessa takes an integrative, compassionate approach, working collaboratively with Individuals to create personalized treatment plans that honor their individual needs and goals. She believes in empowering clients to build resilience, set boundaries, and foster self-compassion. Her expertise lies in guiding clients to reframe their challenges, using it as a tool for growth, while also addressing perfectionism and people-pleasing tendencies.
Vanessa uses a diverse range of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, psychodynamic therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing , to support her clients in finding lasting relief from emotional distress..

Outside of clinical time, Vanessa promotes her own wellness through travel, reading, camping out, regular exercise and spending time with her family and friends. She is passionate about the transformational healing properties of psychedelics and is excited to incorporate this emerging field into her therapeutic work, helping clients explore deeper levels of healing and self-discovery.

Alexander Boerson

Registered Social Worker, MSW

Alex is a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University. With a broad background in Social Work and Social Services, he has worked with diverse populations, including in elementary schools, group homes, with unhoused individuals in community, in hospitals, and alongside first responders. Alex has served on Crisis Response Teams in emergency rooms across Huron and Perth Counties and worked directly with the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Stratford Police Service in the field. His experience in these high-stress environments has inspired his passion for supporting individuals through difficult thoughts and feelings they experience. He aims to create a comfortable and down to earth environment where individuals can explore themselves without judgement. Alex was drawn to the field of Social Services after his own personal journey with mental health challenges. Alex approaches therapy with deep empathy and a curiosity for the human experience. Alex is trained in several therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Approaches, Motivational Interviewing, and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy. He is currently pursuing additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Trauma. Outside of his professional life, Alex enjoys spending time with his wife, newborn child, and their two dogs. He stays active through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, running, weightlifting, camping, and fishing. Alex believes in creating a therapeutic relationship built on honesty, openness, and a willingness to try new approaches, and he encourages clients to bring these values into their sessions and lives

Chris Mullin

Registered Psychotherapist

Chris is a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Western University. He has pursued his interest in psychology through two degrees and engaging research on self-talk and the medicalization of counselling. His approach to counselling is primarily relational, emphasizing the importance of the connection between therapist and client as the foundation for emotional processing and growth. Chris aims to create a space where clients can express themselves authentically and discuss various aspects of their lives. Through therapeutic work, he helps untangle the complex thoughts, emotions, and sensations that may contribute to stress.

Utilizing an integrative approach to therapy, Chris draws from a range of evidence-based therapies, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, tailored to the specific needs and preferences of his clients. He focuses on providing therapy that is flexible and personalized, considering each client’s strengths, past experiences, and current challenges. His work is grounded in client-centred, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive perspectives, with a strong emphasis on holding space for clients’ intersectional identities. Chris works with adults individually, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, stress, and any other concerns clients wish to explore.

In addition to his professional interests, Chris has been following the growing research on psychedelic-assisted therapy since before his first psychology lecture. Outside of work, he enjoys attending concerts, biking along trails, and relaxing with video games. He values openness, curiosity, and compassion, bringing these principles to each session and to life in general. Chris appreciates the opportunity to meet clients where they are and to walk with them on their journey toward deeper self-awareness and understanding.

Nalisa Dhanraj

Registered Social Worker, MSW

Nalisa is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-I). Drawing on her Caribbean roots and a deep understanding of intergenerational trauma, she works with individuals and couples to address anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, and life transitions. Her therapeutic foundation includes Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which she integrates to create meaningful and culturally responsive care. 

With over 8 years of professional experience in the field of mental health, her approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. She creates a supportive space where clients feel seen and heard, while helping them develop greater self-awareness, emotional regulation, and healthier relationship dynamics. She is especially passionate about helping clients break cycles of codependency, navigate challenging family dynamics, and cultivate self-compassion. Whether clients are healing from trauma, navigating heartbreak, or working toward personal growth, she helps them uncover their blocks, find their strengths, and build the tools they need to thrive. 

Outside of her clinical work, Nalisa enjoys comedy shows, paddle boarding, crafting, hiking, and spending time with her dog. She believes that healing is not a solitary journey, but a shared and empowered process. She sees psychedelics as a powerful catalyst for transformation and is inspired by the potential they hold to unlock deeper healing, expanded self-awareness, and profound personal growth. She is excited to integrate psychedelic therapeutic practices into her work in thoughtful and meaningful ways. Her work is rooted in the belief that even the most painful experiences can be transformed into sources of wisdom, connection, and resilience.

Dr. Mario Nucci

Medical Director

Dr. Mario Nucci, MD, CCFP, is a dedicated and forward-thinking physician with a deep passion for mental health and medical innovation. With a focus on pioneering advancements in mental health care, Dr. Nucci has been at the forefront of ketamine treatment for mental health conditions since 2016. He has contributed significantly to the field through numerous academic lectures and clinical research, serving as an investigator in pivotal clinical trials exploring the benefits of ketamine for mental health. His efforts have been instrumental in improving accessibility to these evidence-based treatments across Canada, solidifying his role as a leading figure in the evolving landscape of mental health therapy.

Rosalie Shorney

Nurse Clinic Manager

Rosalie Shorney is the Nurse Lead for Field Trip Health and a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York University. She is deeply committed to mental health and brings extensive experience from public health, where she led initiatives in sexual health, vaccine-preventable diseases, and COVID-19 outbreak management. Her career spans acute care, long-term care, primary care, and palliative care, with a consistent focus on patient-centred care and emotional support.

Rosalie is passionate about holistic healthcare, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, and promoting mental health awareness, equity, and social justice in the healthcare system. She was drawn to Field Trip Health for its innovative and collaborative approach to psychedelic therapy and is proud to help lead the future of mental health care in Canada.

When she’s not working, you’ll find her on the diamond with her two kids, cheering them on in softball and baseball. She also enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and mountain biking.

Rajveer Soos

Nurse Practitioner

Rajveer is a Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in the acute care setting as well as in the community, where her focus has always been to provide compassionate client-centred care. In the community she worked to serve marginalized populations, including indigenous and homeless individuals. Rajveer believes that optimal health requires a holistic approach in which there is balance within the mind, body, and spirit. She understands the impact of mental health challenges on individuals, families, and communities, and is passionate about helping individuals heal from deep-rooted patterns and traumas, in order to create lasting healing. In 2021, Rajveer completed Therapsil’s Psilocybin Practitioner Training for End-of Life care, where she gained deeper insight into the true healing potential of psychedelics. She is passionate about the work being done at Field Trip Health and the use of psychedelics to help individuals suffering from mental illness. She is optimistic about the direction and future of mental health care and excited to be contributing to this paradigm shift in the field.

Sydney Resendes

Registered practical nurse

Sydney is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse with a diverse background in healthcare. Since 2017, she’s been deeply committed to providing exceptional care, beginning her career as a Recreation Therapist before transitioning into nursing. Graduating in 2021 and having since focused on mental health nursing, she has gained valuable experience working with vulnerable populations, including individuals facing severe mental health challenges, chronic pain, and those living with Alzheimer’s disease. 

Sydney believes in holistic, innovative approaches to supporting individuals and enhancing their well-being. As someone who is passionate about compassionate care, she is eager to make a positive, meaningful impact in the lives of others and to support their journey toward improved mental well-being. Sydney commits to contributing to the shared vision of enhancing the lives of those we serve at Field Trip Health. 

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys journaling, spending time with her family and her cat, enjoying the outdoors through activities like yoga and connecting with nature.

Joy Kolic

Nurse Practitioner

Joy, a seasoned Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of expertise in healthcare and dedicated her career to Mental Health and Geriatrics. She earned her Masters in Nursing/Nurse Practitioner degree in 2017 and has since spent 6 years excelling in the Mental Health field. Joy is certified in Mental Health and Addictions from the University of Toronto.

Beyond her role as a Nurse Practitioner, she is a certified yoga teacher with a deep passion for yoga, meditation, and mindful movement, recognizing their positive impact on wellness and healing. Embracing a holistic approach to patient care, Joy is eager to assist you in achieving your wellness goals.
