Our online therapists are trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy principles. While no psychedelics are administered during online sessions, we support integration work for those exploring psychedelic therapy independently.
For eligible clients, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy is available through Field Trip Health's in-person clinics or our at-home medical program in Ontario, British Columbia, and Quebec. If and when it's appropriate, your therapist can help you explore this treatment option as part of a safe, medically supervised care plan.
Having a network of psychedelic therapy clinics means we can train our therapists in the most innovative therapy techniques. Psychedelics and non-ordinary states of consciousness also foster an approach to therapy that is open, compassionate, connected and non-judgemental.
Every online therapy session is tailored to you. Our licensed therapists adapt their tools and techniques to your goals for therapy, improving your chances of lasting progress.
We treat you as a whole being that is part of a larger system. Our therapists consider all interconnected aspects of your life and develop a therapeutic plan to enhance your well-being, including your psychological, emotional, physical, and spiritual goals.
We incorporate therapeutic techniques like somatic release, visualization, breathwork, and other evidence-based tools into your psychotherapy sessions online to shift mindsets and support long-term healing.
Effective as in-person therapy, our virtual therapy sessions help build your internal resources. Many clients report lasting improvements in mood, clarity, and self-awareness.

Our online therapy sessions do not involve the use of psychedelics. However, all of our therapists are trained in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy principles. If you’re curious about ketamine therapy or want to ease into psychedelic care gradually, this is a great place to start. Many of our clients begin with online psychotherapy to build a strong therapeutic relationship and, if medically appropriate, may later be referred into our ketamine-assisted psychotherapy program—often continuing on with the same therapist.
No. All online therapy sessions are sober, talk-based psychotherapy. For supervised psychedelic-assisted therapy, please refer to our In-Person program page.
Yes. Research shows that online therapy can be just as effective as in-person sessions for most mental illnesses and therapy goals. Many clients report deep connection and meaningful outcomes through virtual therapy.
No. Our therapists are not medical doctors and cannot prescribe medication. However, Field Trip Health has a team of licensed nurse practitioners who can assess, diagnose, and prescribe medication when needed. If you’re considering ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, a consultation with one of our nurse practitioners can be booked here.
