Field Trip Health offers a medically supervised at-home model for clients who are eligible for psychedelic-assisted therapy. In this program, a licensed nurse attends each dosing session in your home. Ketamine — a legal psychedelic medicine in Canada — is administered only within this supervised clinical framework.
Field Trip Health provides a structured, individualized approach to at-home psychedelic-assisted therapy.
Our clinicians and therapists offer support throughout the process, including preparation, in-home medical supervision, and integration therapy. Care plans are tailored to your needs to help ensure safety, consistency, and clear communication throughout your treatment experience.
Begin with a short call to learn whether our at-home program may be appropriate for you. Our team will walk you through next steps.
You’ll meet virtually with a licensed nurse practitioner to review your medical history and determine eligibility for a psychedelic-assisted therapy program using ketamine.
If approved, sessions are scheduled in your home. A licensed nurse attends each dosing appointment in person, and your therapist joins virtually for preparation and integration. Programs typically consist of several sessions delivered over 2–3 weeks, depending on your care plan.
The at-home program is currently available in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia.
"Field Trip Health made the process comfortable and supportive. Being able to receive care at home made a meaningful difference in my experience."

Many clients pair their at-home psychedelic sessions with integration therapy. These sessions help you process your experiences, reflect on insights, and explore how they may relate to your therapeutic goals.
Integration is available virtually across all participating provinces.
At-home psychedelic therapy is a clinically supervised model where eligible clients receive ketamine, a legal psychedelic medicine in Canada, in their home. A licensed nurse is present in person for each dosing session, and your therapist supports you virtually before and after the experience.
Start by booking a free discovery call. Our team will learn more about your needs and guide you to a formal medical consultation. Eligibility is determined by a licensed nurse practitioner based on your medical and mental-health history.
Most clients in the at-home program receive a series of scheduled sessions over several weeks, often with two appointments per week. The exact schedule may vary depending on your care plan.
Safety is central to our model. A licensed nurse is physically present for each dosing session to monitor your well-being. All care follows established clinical protocols and includes virtual therapeutic support before and after each session.
At-home psychedelic therapy using ketamine is currently offered in select communities in Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia. Additional regions may be added as our clinical capacity grows.
Administration methods vary by province:
British Columbia & Quebec: intramuscular (IM) administration
Ontario: intranasal, sublingual, or IM administration depending on clinical assessment
Your prescribing clinician will determine the appropriate method for you.
We recommend creating a calm, quiet space, wearing comfortable clothing, minimizing interruptions, and having your phone silenced. If possible, some clients choose to have a trusted support person nearby.
Clients often explore psychedelic-assisted therapy when navigating challenges related to:
depressive symptoms
anxiety-related concerns
trauma-related histories, including PTSD
obsessive thinking patterns
chronic pain
substance-use-related patterns
eating-related challenges
This approach is typically considered when other treatments have not provided sufficient relief.
Some people report temporary effects such as nausea, changes in blood pressure, dizziness, or fatigue. Your nurse monitors you throughout the session, and you will be advised not to drive or operate machinery for the rest of the day.
Rest is recommended for the remainder of the day. Many clients spend time journaling or reflecting. You must avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until the following day.
In Canada, ketamine is currently the only psychedelic medicine legally available for therapeutic use outside of authorized clinical trials. MDMA and psilocybin remain controlled substances and are not available for clinical care at Field Trip Health.
