MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy

Have you tried traditional approaches but haven’t experienced satisfactory results?

Do you struggle daily with flashbacks or other symptoms of PTSD? Have you found no change with conventional therapies? At Field Trip Health, we understand the toll severe PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) can have on one’s life and happiness. This frustration can further be exacerbated by treatments that don’t work or aren’t long-lasting. But what if you could find long-lasting relief? MDMA-assisted psychotherapy at Field Trip Health may be worth exploring.

MDMA-assisted psychotherapy is a groundbreaking new treatment that can reduce fear and anxiety and enhance self-awareness and empathy. This therapy approach merges MDMA’s effects with psychotherapy sessions for improved outcomes. The recent Phase 3 Clinical Trials by MAPS, the Multidisciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies, found that 88% of participants saw improvement from their treatment, and 67% no longer qualified as having PTSD. Relief is possible; you can reclaim back your life and happiness and move past debilitating PTSD.

How does MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy work?

MDMA-Assisted Therapy uses controlled amounts of MDMA alongside psychotherapy to deepen the therapeutic experience. This allows individuals to access memories, feelings, and insights with less fear or reactivity, making it an effective treatment for those with treatment-resistant PTSD. Each session is monitored and guided by trained professionals, guiding your way toward lasting healing.

While MDMA is currently illegal in Canada, it’s available based on compassionate grounds for specific treatment-resistant cases.

How long does a typical MDMA-assisted therapy treatment take?

MDMA-assisted psychotherapy sessions may vary in duration from 6 to 8.5 hours, helping you experience transformative breakthroughs alongside the guidance of our experienced therapists.

The number of sessions in your treatment plan also varies depending on the individual. Often, we have preparatory sessions leading up to the therapeutic experience. Afterward, it’s common to have multiple integration sessions to help process the experience and solidify new learnings and perspectives.

What results will I see?

Research regarding MDMA-assisted psychotherapy demonstrates efficiency and effectiveness for treatment-resistant PTSD. In a 2021 Phase 3 clinical trial led by MAPS, the Multi-Disciplinary Association of Psychedelic Studies, 88% of participants experienced significant improvement in their symptoms, and 67% reported no PTSD symptoms after completing the treatment.

The positive outcomes in this research surpass that of traditional therapy approaches. This offers individuals who are experiencing no change with conventional treatments new options to explore and experience relief.

It’s important to note that individual responses vary. At Field Trip Health, we are committed to your satisfaction and helping each client achieve improvements in their overall well-being. If your expectations are not met, we offer a 25% credit for treatment costs toward another eligible program.

Is there any downtime?

Each therapeutic session spans 8.5 hours. Please note that due to the effects of the session, driving afterward is not advisable, and it is recommended to arrange a safe ride home. While some clients choose to take the following day off for rest, reflection, and healing, it is not mandatory.
