Support for Those Who Have Served

Veteran-Focused Mental Health Programs

Veterans often navigate experiences shaped by service demands, operational stress, and complex transitions. Field Trip Health provides structured, clinician-supervised therapeutic programs designed to support Veterans seeking additional mental-health resources.

Our team is familiar with concerns commonly discussed among Veteran populations, including stress-related symptoms, trauma-exposed histories, and challenges associated with long-term operational tempo. We offer coordinated care pathways that include psychotherapy, non-drug therapeutic modalities, and—when clinically appropriate—programs that may incorporate psychedelic-assisted therapy following comprehensive medical assessment.

Why Field Trip Health?

Experience Supporting Veterans

Field Trip Health has supported many Veterans across Canada through structured mental-health programs. Our approach and clinical model have been described in professional publications, including the Psymed Medical Journal.

Comprehensive, Multidisciplinary Options

We offer a range of clinician-supervised services relevant to concerns often raised within Veteran communities, including stress-related difficulties, trauma-related histories, and mood-related challenges.

Clinically Supervised Care

All programs are delivered with medical oversight and follow structured, evidence-informed clinical frameworks. Veterans frequently describe our environment as structured, supportive, and grounded in clear communication and clinical guidance.

Coverage and Options

Some Veterans access their services through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC). Coverage varies by individual circumstances and plan details. Our team can help you understand what documentation may be required.

Our Program Options

Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAT)

This option may be explored by Veterans seeking additional therapeutic support when previous approaches have not met their needs. Some individuals report that sessions involving psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy feel distinct from their earlier therapy experiences, often providing a different context for engaging with emotions or patterns. These experiences vary from person to person, and suitability is determined through a clinical assessment that includes a review of risks, benefits, and available alternatives.

Stellate Ganglion Block (SGB)

Clinical Research Involving MDMA and Psilocybin

Field Trip Health follows developments in scientific research exploring MDMA and psilocybin. These substances are not approved for therapeutic use in Canada, and are not offered through our clinical programs.

At present, MDMA and psilocybin may only be accessed in Canada through authorized research studies or through other regulatory pathways managed by Health Canada. Participation in such studies is strictly regulated and involves its own independent eligibility processes and oversight.

Our clinicians stay informed about emerging research so we can provide clients with accurate, balanced information when discussing the current landscape of treatment options and limitations.

Why Some Veterans Describe These Approaches as Different

Some Veterans have shared that certain therapeutic approaches offered at Field Trip Health feel distinct from previous experiences with conventional treatments. They sometimes describe these sessions as creating space for emotional reflection or exploration in a different way. Experiences vary widely from person to person.

A clinician will review your medical history, needs, and safety considerations to determine whether any of these options may be appropriate for you.
