Frequently asked questions.
How is this different from the therapy I’ve already tried?
OCD is often treated with exposure therapy and medication—but those tools don’t always get to the root. This therapy helps clients step outside of rigid thought loops and create new patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
By accessing an altered state in a safe, guided way, many clients can reflect on their experiences with more distance and insight. Our 3-week intensive program includes 16 hours of therapy designed to create sustained relief—not just symptom suppression.
For many, this has been the breakthrough that traditional methods couldn’t deliver.
Is treatment covered by insurance?
As all sessions are conducted with a registered therapist (psychotherapist, registered social worker, psychologist, registered clinical counsellor, etc.), you may be eligible for partial or full reimbursement under extended health benefits, depending on your employer or insurer's coverage limits. We will provide you with the necessary documentation to seek reimbursement from your insurance provider.
Are there any conditions that would make me ineligible?
Our program is not suitable for those with the following conditions:
Allergy to specific medications
Pregnancy
Personal history of schizophrenia or psychosis
Uncontrolled hypertension (blood pressure)
Severe recent head injury/trauma
Does this treatment replace my therapy or medication in the long term?
No, this isn’t about replacing your current treatment—it’s about accelerating your progress. Many clients with OCD have tried years of therapy or medications with limited success. Our program helps unlock new insights and shifts that can make existing supports more effective.
Some people continue with their therapist or care team after the program, while others find they need less ongoing support. We always recommend making long-term care decisions in collaboration with your providers.
Do I require a doctor’s referral to go through treatment?
In Canada, a doctor’s referral is not required.
